Cemented Carbide Rods
Carbide round bars are tungsten carbide rods used for drills and end mills, available in both types with and without cooling channels.
Lizhou Carbide produces a variety of carbide bars, currently available in both blank and precision-ground versions. These blanks are also commonly referred to as cutting tool blanks.
Our products bring you and the metal cutting market superior carbide grades and dimensional accuracy to meet your stringent machining requirements. We can recommend different products based on different materials.

Main Features of Cemented Carbide
The main characteristic of cemented carbide is its extremely high hardness (around HRA 80-94). Cemented carbide primarily consists of ultra-fine WC grains. Our products contain up to 12% cobalt, with a hardness generally between 91.5 and 93.7, and a bending strength typically around 3300-4400 N/mm². Lizhou Grades and Performance Requirements
LX25 is a traditional grade using sub-fine grains, combining toughness and wear resistance, suitable for machining materials across all fields.
LBC15S is an innovative grade with very stable and excellent performance, covering the machining of most P.M.K.N. category materials.
LBC12 offers good wear resistance and impact toughness, suitable for machining steel parts with HRC50 and above.
LBC12S is a sub-fine grain alloy with extremely high impact toughness and an extremely long service life, a specialized grade developed specifically for machining stainless steel.
LBC25S uses ultra-fine WC powder, exhibiting excellent wear resistance and toughness, particularly suitable for machining titanium alloys and nickel-based high-temperature alloys.
LBC09 is an ultra-fine cemented carbide material with superior wear resistance and impact toughness, suitable for machining hardened steel, composite plates, plastics, and other materials.
LBC05 is a sub-fine grain alloy with good adhesion to diamond-coated tools, particularly suitable for making small-diameter tools and deep-hole drills, suitable for machining graphite, composite materials, etc.
Cemented carbide is an alloy made by sintering tungsten carbide powder. Its hardness is second only to diamond, and its weight is about twice that of iron. Typically, it refers to a material formed by sintering tungsten carbide (WC) and cobalt (CO) as binders, and is mainly used in cutting tools and molds.
